A bit of Class and Glamour under the Christmas Tree

Christmas is coming! It's time to work on  our self improvement. Especially for those who like to be lazy and mobilize only for a reason.
Let's go back to the past, to those golden days!

Let's promise ourselves larger dose of glamour - since more is always better than less - and more satisfaction from life.

Especially nowadays when all values disappear with a blink of an eye. Women wander around the streets basically naked, people have sex on the side walk (yes, strange London streets at 4am) and art of casual conversation is dying.
Maybe the art of any conversation or rather art of thinking vanishes....
It just happened I met a girl who's name didn't stick to my brain, unfortunately, who got this strange need to talk to me. She approached me with a question:
- How do you do your hair?
I didn't have time, willingness and found it boring but still I answered.
- Your hair is so damaged, it looks so bad, no shine at all. I !!! take care of my hair very much that's why it's so nice besides I don't want to become bald. It will fall out.
And she disappeared.

Perhaps it's my environment or could it be me?
If yes, could it be 'Dave' my workmate? Random guy asked him:
- Are you Dave?
- No, I'm not.
- Are you sure? You look just like Dave.
- Who is Dave anyway?
- You know; this fat guy.

However now when I think of it... I had (I'd like to emphasize Had) a friend, lady G., who as my guest, under my roof, using my electricity and hospitality practised the same art of conversation. Once, during London trip day, she asked me..
-So, what kind of perfumes do you use?
After very detailed pictured I built for her including Where, How much and Why I love so much Agent Provocateur she just simply replied:
- Because you smell like an old lady.

I've been thinking about myself What do I do wrong? Am I not aggressive enough? too patient? ...or really...?
But then if you've ever experienced such thing and have doubts just look at this persons life:
depression, failure, complexes or - simple explanations always work - stupidity. I admit it warms me up from inside and brings sentimental memories from Denmark that is living it's own life fortunately without me and ... I smile.
I know, it all starts with parents, so how can you blame them.
Let's promise ourselves (hopefully - They will do as well) something no one can buy or receive;

more Class for next year.

Savoir vivre is French and means living a good life while staying elegant and smart. (noun)

And let's remember - the art of saying Get lost is as well important.

50'erne er tilbage! (50s are back!)

My fascination with vintage look started in Denmark.
I couldn't bear all the same people all around. As it often happens to couples, boy and girl start to look the same, happens on a large scale in DK. They came to such a perfection that somehow even women and men look alike.
The most shocking effect of homogeneity you will ever see... in the world of people studying - I mean few years of higher education - how to make an open sandwich, and only sandwich during these long years, which, by the way has a special name: Smorrebrod.
In the world of possibilities where you can also study, I mean S t u d y to become a pedel; means caretaker
Where no one judges your education; no marks at school till the age of 15.
Where everyone is equal; Nikolay Frederik Severin Grundtvig created theory: don't think you're better than others - don't think you're worse than others.
It castrated Danish society and took away ambition, competition, imagination, creativity, guts and spirit.
Once they used to chop thousands of villages and colonies as Berserks, totally drugged in wild rage. Nowadays they just move like blind ones in fog, slowly with empty expression on their faces, usually emptied from gleam and life, moved only by physiological impulses, ignoring even basics of the Rule Book of How-to-behave-in-society-in-Europe: nothing complicated... just easy things: use Please, give up a seat sometimes for someone, no jeans in opera, don't walk over someones seat in shoes in public places (scary to think what's in private space), let pass (older rule than the Santa Claus himself: First! Go out, Then! Go in - fortunately they do have short teaching film in trains).
They spend a fortune to look like shit(yes Mr G, I know you love it)
One of the most beautiful populations so skilled in keeping Homeless Cool Look.
It is heavy to observe so many people wearing The Same! Shoes, clothes, bags, the same brands and models, the same colours and patterns, homeless hairstyles - yes, it's to you Danish ladies.
And in all this, not even one gentleman. Died out species in Denmark.
Sometimes you ask yourself Do I See Things?
Difficult to recognize anybody... I always believed that no one wants to look like the neighbour next door, grocery seller just behind the corner, family member, partner, accountant, friend or 99% of people bumping into each other on the side walk.
Maybe they just practise camouflage in these difficult times ???
I do warmly recommend some more objective opinions:

So 50s are back on the cover of this Danish Elle !!! But not in Denmark.

For Danes: too much work... that's why here comes to all Danish ladies and Danish-wanna-be (I know plenty of them):

There are no ugly women, only lazy ones.

If you're closed in a small box with the same potatoes in shape and colour you simply forget that there are tomatoes, carrots and other things.

Ladies!!! Don't let them fool you! This amazing underwear is NOT Femme Fatale - which is just a lingerie shop in Copenhagen selling with significant profit - it is wonderful (if not polyester!) What Katie Did !!!
Don't be crazy, order online and pay less.

If you have any doubts just try this simple cut - out, stick to your photos and try! At least try!! to imagine that you can look differently.

Leaving Legoland

Few days ago people here went out on the streets and pretended to be Brazilians. They had to be simply confused since they forgot to hate foreigners that day.

Those not from here representing f.ex. Bolivia are most likely bounded with local people by marriage or kids. Danish people like one way roads, don't tend to leave their own country and follow their partners.
I don't think Bolivians came here for this 'major cultural event since 1982' just to have a walk through streets of Copenhagen.
(now when I recall expression on my face when I saw it for the first time...it had to be strange)
Usually on the side of working with often basic customer service foreigners organize many courses or workshops like salsa dancing...whatever is close to their culture.
Legoland is great and famous! But when I say about my current place of stay I usually or only hear What??? Where?, Why?!!.

I like when people have fun! It's just that since I've met young people's point of view about those from outside, this time the smell of hypocrisy spread around.
Yes...she's pregnant.

Well, time here is getting to an end.
So I made a list of things I'm going to miss from here.

Sea. Hopefully for a while only.

Friday's in Malmo. Which is actually everywhere nowadays.

Cafes, which can be easily replaced.

And definitively irreplaceable bike roads...

...and social welfare!

Era of vintage slips slowly goes away and will start somewhere else. But since it's still here for few more weeks I decided to feed my addiction.

I love to search and fight for getting 1940s, 1950s slips or nightgowns. Even 1960s and 1970s.
It's like collecting.
And recently I was not lucky enough to win these items.

Of course changes are always always always good and so I expect only better things.

Boudoir Bizarre - Grotesque Burlesque

The most interesting event in Denmark!!!
If you're coming here, make sure you sign up for this.
Because who wants to spin in Tivoli constantly? or shopping on Stroget and spending money for things which are available everywhere? There's C H Andersens sculpture and finally worth seeing: two Kunst Museum and Louisiana Museum. That's it.
So It is so important to experience some fetish.
It's good to sign up on Facebook to follow all updates.
And check the website.

There is music, couple of bars and a lot of shows. Any performer can present his/her show.
Few shows were at the same time.
Grannies. I was late so had no idea...

...marylin monroe songs band:

The most important was an amazing show of Tinus De Schunard!

some older videos:

All details about Danish artist Tinus, weight, hight, interest and targets HERE
Very magnetic and vivid!

I was amazed with amount of women partying only in underwear. Panties ans pasties.
This strong will to be naked was really intriguing.
There was also Libertine Club with their members dressed in German uniforms from II WW, whom you can see in theirs swastika bands on Salon Libertine website.
...sometimes I wonder if it's lack of education? impertinent ignorance? or just lack of class?
Well, as far as I know ( I heard from my Danish teacher ) there are no grades in Primary school in Denmark. ..or actually till the age of 15.

I would like to go again! Hopefully in summer. Have more drinks before and more fun inside.
