Lana Del Rey and lips tick

I am absolutely stunned by Lana Del Rey. Her 'video games', 'blue jeans', 'yayo', 'Miss America'/'Trash' are so beautiful. For years nothing enchanted me so. I had a short fling with 'Girl and the Sea' Preset and some fun with Eels. Of course Tori Amos is still my one and only...but Lana Del Ray is special. I hope she won't turn into different directions and stays on more less the same path as it didn't happen with Goldfrapp. 'Felt Mountain' is like a painting. Perfect from the beginning till the end but afterwards, not much happened. 
About Lana Del Rey I like this vintage touch. Her hair, nicely waved, so much upgraded when changed from white - yellowish. Amazing how much class she gained in this new color. 
And it doesn't even matter if she altered her lips or not... now, like that, she looks amazing. Her look went into a good direction. So much appreciation for this new image. She just stopped looking so 'typically'. Piece of Art.

I just don't understand why to deny it. 'Have you done something with your lips?' Why not to just say 'Yes, I did. I feel and in my opinion look more attractive now.'
Does these things influence sale and popularity? Are we really so shallow?
Who cares? I guess she's adult enough to make own decisions. Even if she decides to become a product of music factory, just like a chewing gum in another flavour. Even if all this has nothing to do with her ideas and her creativity. Perhaps she has never even written anything and had nothing to do with her new image idea... as long as she sings like this, it doesn't matter at all.

The more important is... How is it possible she looks so amazing in this hair? In a Satinette colour, the most common natural and the most I-want-to-run-away-from-it. 
I think it's so similar to my roots... I look in it undoubtedly like a Transvestite. 
Imagine the world where you don't need to dye your hair simply because your natural make you look prefect.
So how is it ???
Maybe it's not hair but lips that make it special.


About lips... I always put something into my ears before I approach cosmetics counter. Even when I say 'No, Thank you. And no, no more bets please! I don't need your advice.' it usually doesn't work and I end up listening to a shop assistant or better, makeup stylist, explaining which color is absolutely stunning for me and how this lip liner fits to this lipstick. That's why few drinks before help a lot.
Then appears on horizon this dangerous threat that I can actually leave with a pink, saumon shade and a lip liner that doesn't match to anything I already have and even doesn't match to the lipstick I just mistakenly bought. 
Sometimes when I feel I'm breaking I just scream 'no pink! no pink! no pink!'
And this is how I successfully became owner of:

Rouge Dior.

638 . Rouge Flamboyant. Blazing Red.

I bought it when my boyfriend asked me to get something more gentle and delicate. I knew I'll never get a pink one so I'm not sure if he's satisfied or just gave up.

With Dior lip gloss. Dior Addict. 077. Crystal Gloss. Makes the red-red just simply soft red. But then after some time it clusters unpleasantly so I rather wear it without.

I use it with very missed lip liner advised by shop assistant in House of Fraser: Chanel. 37.  Framboise. Never do it !!!
It was impossible to match one, even after checking all brands.
But it goes perfectly well with my old and inexpensive, only 3.80EUR, lip liner: Star Gazer. 10.
Also I do have Star Gazer. 135. Lipstick. As red as lip pencil. More than Rouge Dior and more covering and lasting. Star Gazer is a brand I found on Restyle.pl

Rouge Dior is not at all constant-like-lipstick. It doesn't like to stick around. It has to be corrected quite often. It doesn't cover very well. But it has light fresh look and doesn't smudge much.
However I'm not going to buy it again. I don't really like the texture. I don't like the package. I'm planning to replace it with Too Faced Runaway Red. 

 Diorific.

013. Rouge Bingo. Roulette Red.

I had to have this one after Dita von Teese announced it as her favourite. After all you just need to take advice from someone who uses red lipsticks constantly. 

Shiseido smoothing lip liner. RD 305. is just perfect for Bingo. 
Rouge Bingo stays in place for-almost-ever. Gives just a bit smudging problem, but like ordinary lipstick. It's perfect. Well, balanced lipstick in every way. But the colour is quite definite and strong.

Too Faced.

Drop Dead Red. 

It's definitively the best lipstick I've ever had. The most moisturizing, thick and it lasts and lasts and lasts... but it does smudge easily. It's like fat, greasy cream.
Too Faced has incredible Border Lip Liner. Transparent, kind of wax, used right around border lips so lipstick stays in place. 
Lip liner that perfectly fits for this one: Elizabeth Arden smooth line. Orchid 06.
Just like Diorific, after cleaning there are still some remains, hard to remove. It keeps that well. Colour is dark, deep, described as blue red. Heavy accent. There's something about the thickness and the package and the feeling of moisture lips that definitively I'll get it again and explore some more colours.

Whatever happens, when you wear red lipstick on, check it !!! From time to time, all time long. Never expect it's there and it's fine.

I got so inspired by Sandra Dee look in this movie, which came like salvation since I'm quite tired of my hairstyle. It still needs improvement but couldn't be so bad if my course mate had an urge to get this photo.

Fallowing the movie:
If you want a perfect marriage treat your husband as a dog. Makes sense.
- Ignore the fact that Bobby Darin woke up one day, supposedly, and decided to divorce Sandra Dee. -
Pet him, stroke him. When I do it frequently but in small dozes he's always happy. It seems then he's not talking but starts even singing ..
Never loose your temper with a pet!!! I should write it in some visible place and practise concentration with relaxation in dramatic moments. It definitively puts an end to all arguments. However my aunt has a theory that big dogs just have to be overpowered physically. Just have a brutal fight, once and forever which will establish who the winner is.
If a pet doesn't want to fallow, just let him in the start. Later on when he's happy on his track just try to point him suddenly but firmly to your desired direction. I do have to try it harder. Usually when I say 'let's go there!' cross-grained he really objects and usually stays for next couple of hours in the same place. But if I ask 'so what do you want to do today?', there's a long list of ideas. Then it's not difficult to push him aside. A bit distracted maybe will even be satisfied.
Praise him all the time. Every single the most simple action. Like taking trash out, hoovering, washing dishes... eventually he will throw himself rapidly on everything he thinks he's good at. Yes, I recommend. Truly works.


I would definitively put to this guide:
Have some secrets.
Don't share the bathroom in the same time...unless you're having a bath.
Never tell true prices you paid.
Admit only to 1/4 or less shopping you did.
Always say that the thing you're wearing is so old and how could he missed that! - If you're asked.
Never underline you're going to a hairdresser or beautician. Even if you mention he'll never remember and will think you don't really need so much assistance. (I so fail in this matter)


Getting to basics:
Always wear sexy lingerie.
Wear black stockings...or at least stockings...
Sleep in alluring nighties. I, personally, sleep in extra, over the top alluring nightdresses to counterbalance use of teeth protector, I have to use because of bruxism, and pin curls.
Find out your the most beautiful version of I-feel-ugly-and-do-nothing-about-it instead of being seriously shredded. 
Don't argue too much but in the end in silence always do your stuff, be true to yourself above all.
Trust only yourself.
Always be independent. 

And if it doesn't work...fallow the movie and find yourself a lover, at least imaginary one. 

"Bachelor Mother"

There's many movies with Ginger Rogers which are so..so.. or not really...
But this one I truly like!
After watching 'Bundle of joy', musical in colour, from 1956 with Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher I had this strange feeling in my throat. Like after eating kilos of ugly candies made from sugar only. Too much of everything. The subject excludes musical. Colours and musical and the subject makes it like marshmallows with chocolate and bananas and 50s on top of it.
Ugly.

But original movie from 1939 starring Ginger Rogers, with her mocking eyes full of ignorance or viciousness, and David Niven, nothing of a sweet boy, rather posh intelectual voice and attitude, is A Good One. Who knows why 'Bundle of joy' floods internet if there's such a good original !!!

So No to 'Bundle of joy'

Black Christmas

Dita von Teese shared that her friend Ali Mahdavi said: black is the best of all colours because it doesn't distract from beauty of the face. My friend thinks that it's the worse option because everything become twice visible; dark circles under eyes, spots, redness, tiredness and gives plus 10 years.
But it really worked for our Christmas especially in this atmosphere on the World. Who wouldn't like to move out from this planet?
Main colour was Black.

I don't really wear black. Usually cold colours and No White since it gives me very interesting two-mushroom-soups-please! look. But somehow it happened that recently I purchased few pieces and because I got an amazing pearl necklace for Christmas it actually makes sense !!!
Black and pearls. 

This one is so classical in form. Wool, straight. Sometimes very itchy, but there's nothing I can do. When I wash it by hand it looks like sinking black painting. Everything is black...even my fingers get black. But well... it's worth it - I like to think so.

And definitively My Favourite so far. Velvet! 

The one I've never bought but I believe it's still waiting for me. Somehow everything what I like in 'Most Marvellous' where I sell my recent portrait collection (without any result...something has to be done about it) is constantly there, waiting for months until I buy it.

I have something more black in my plans. EBay is this one thing I just can't quit.
I'm expecting my wardrobe to flood in black very soon. 
Black is my mood recently. I am in the middle of croupier course and I have to admit speed is not one of my features. I wanted to do it since I had an idea to try a night life !
A little bit of change.
And if once I want just to disappear from my present reality I can fluently merge myself into a cruise staff going to ... let's say ... Caribbean.
But the way is long and more difficult than I thought. Especially when you're not a fan of  gambling and have no knowledge of roulette. 
I do know how to deal with people who feel robbed after few years dealing with money so that saves me, slightly I hope.
I expect to cut my eBay habits when I start (and if hopefully) being a croupier and (I hate the word 'work') wear uniform. These sad, usually in hopeless colours, sets of wear made always from lovely polyester. Lucky ones have it with mixture of cotton, but not too much, just 30%. 
Anyway...  

'Hold on tightly, let go lightly'.
